The well-known music club is located in the City West at Kantstra\u00dfe 12a, right next to the Theater des Westens. The Quasimodo shares the traditional building with the Vagantenb\u00fchne and the historic Delphi Film Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;In 1975, the club was taken over by Genoa-born Giorgio Carioti, who had moved to Berlin for love. Carioti renamed the club Quasimodo, which until then had been run more as a student pub, focusing on the musical program and making the Quasimodo one of the most important live clubs in the city. Since 2017, the Quasimodo has been operated by Channel Music GmbH and received the prize as &#8220;Venue of the Year&#8221; in 2019 as part of the venue program prize &#8220;Applaus&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quasimodo Club<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"information\">\n\n\n\n<p>Traditionally, the ambience is fittingly for a real club, the walls are jet black, the lighting warm, the atmosphere intimate and cozy. For almost 50 years, is it not only the greats of jazz which have sought direct contact with the audience in this cozy atmosphere. Artists such as Branford Marsalis, Maceo Parker or Helge Schneider have been playing regularly at Quasimodo for years.
