Jade MacRae ist eine australische Blues- und Soul-Sängerin, deren Songs den Sound von Etta James, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Big Maybelle und Dinah Washington ins 21. Jahrhundert transportieren. Mit „Up above your Head“ hat sie 2020 neben ihren zahlreichen Kollaborationen mit internationalen Musikern bereits ihr drittes Solo-Album herausgebracht und arbeitet momentan an ihrem neuen Album, das Mitte 2022 erscheinen soll. Sie steht nicht nur den Hauptteil des Jahres mit Joe Bonamassa und Jimmy Barnes auf der Bühne, sondern fand im Laufe ihrer Karriere auch noch Zeit, mit Größen wie Ray Charles, James Brown, Dave Stewart (Eurhythmics) und John Legend zusammenzuarbeiten.

Ihre mitreißenden, emotionalen Songs leben von ihrer ausdrucksstarken Soul-Stimme, ihrem originellen Songwriting und dem Groove ihrer Band, die musikalisch unüberhörbar im Soul und R´n´B der 60er und 70er Jahre verwurzelt ist.

Im Anschluss an Joe Bonamassas Mediterranean Cruise wird sie im September 2022 zum zweiten Mal in Europa auf Tour unterwegs sein, um ihre neuen Songs vorzustellen.
