With a unique funky playing style, an angelic singing voice and an extremely powerful stage presence, Nik West is currently one of the hottest names on the music scene. Throughout the years, Nik has kept honing her left-handed bass skills all while taking her already amazing singing voice to new soulful heights, making her one of the most well-rounded artists currently on the scene. Her unique talent has brought her a lot of attention, where Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics, was one of the first to fall head over heels in love with her expressive singing. This has resulted in the two of them working on several projects together throughout the years. Nik blew away her listeners, with her debut solo album ‚Just In The Nik Of Time‘, which features herself as bassist and lead singer. The album is a seamless combination of funky grooves, jazzy singing and catchy melodies, and is all in all a superb album. She has performed and worked as a bassist and background singer with tons of high-profile artists such as: Prince, John Mayer, Marcus Miller, Dave Stewart etc, and she’s been highly praised by anyone she’s ever worked with. Nik has achieved all of this at a very young age, and it seems like this shooting bass star is just getting started!
