Eigentlich war es mit der Band aus Kanada schon aus. Es wurde wie unter Brüdern gestritten, der Streit überwunden und dann wurde getourt. Durch ganz Nordamerika, Europa, Israel und Brasilien – kein Festival fand ohne ihren „doo-wop punk“ statt. Ihre aktuelle Platte repräsentiert mal wieder die bunte Mischung aus Rock’n’Roll, Punk, R&B, Psych und Garage. Die beiden Herren King Khan und Mark Sultan spielen mehrere Instrumente und produzieren ihre Songs auf eher ungewöhnliche Weise. Anstatt sich in ein voll ausgestattetes Studio zu setzen, wird kurzerhand aus dem Wohnzimmer oder aus dem Keller der Aufnahmeraum gemacht und ein modernes Mischpult gegen ein 4-Band-Kassettenrekorder eingetauscht. Der Sound soll verstören und verzaubern – klare Dreckigkeit und dreckige Klarheit erzeugen. Ein Duo, das sich gegenseitig ergänzt und eine irre Show auf der Bühne hinlegt.
Catch As Catch Can aus Kassel wird als Vorband auftreten und ihr von King Khan produziertes Album präsentieren. Sie sind wilde Garage-Rocker und werden für ordentlich Stimmung sorgen.
